12.03.06 - Faux Finished Doors

These are interior doors made from MDF (particle board). They have been painted and glazed to look like real wood. The finish process on these takes a very long time. It takes 3-4 days per side, for the two sets of doors. So up to a week just to do the finish on the doors. There was also some extra pieces like trim and casing. 10.20.06 - The Dunes Lobby - Marco Cabinets

This job is in the lobby of The Dunes Condominiums. Please know, this job was split 50/50 with another company. If you're ever there, reach out and touch some of the woodwork, does it feel like sand paper? If so, please know that we DID NOT have anything to do with that finish. If you feel something and it's smooth like glass, that's something we did. It's embarrassing to be associated with some of the finish work in there, it's important people know the truth. We also got stiffed out of getting paid by the contractor, as did the other finishing company. Sorry for the rant, just very aggravating.

7.03.06 - Custom Cherry Cabinets

For this job it took sometime longer because it was done on site. Doing jobs on site always take much longer than if done at our shop. The good thing about doing it onsite is the colors will always match. You also don't risk any damage while transporting or installing. You can see more pictures of this job by clicking the picture.

This is the latest job we finished. It was a custom library with upper and lower cabinets. Made of cherry wood with two colors of brown stain and a medium rub clear coat. The cabinet doors were obviously made from solid cherry.

The entire process, from building to installation, took approximately three weeks. As you can see from the picture, that includes the beams in the ceiling.
